To my fellow dental colleagues-
My name is Dr. Alan J. Acierno. I am the CEO and co-founder of DecisionOne Dental Partners, a Dental Support Organization based out of Schaumburg, IL. While I do wear the hat of CEO, before anything else I am still a practicing dentist. When I started DecisionOne back in 2011 with my brother, fellow dentist Dr. Michael Acierno, I could never have imagined the state that the dental industry, or the world for that matter, would be in right now as we deal with the aftermath of COVID-19.
One of the biggest stressors of all of this is the unknown. What should I be telling patients? How do I return to my office’s previous success? What can I do to keep my employees working while keeping myself financially secure? Who out there can help?
As a practicing dentist with 31 locations, I wanted to reach out to my fellow dentists to offer my assistance in any way I can. Our industry needs to survive in order to continue to do what’s most important – take care of our patients.
